I feel that Meryl Streep’s acting in “The Devil Wears Prada” was a good representation of how I feel in school:
when in the hallways:
when someone makes a big deal out of a poor test grade:
when I’m done presenting something in class and it gets awkwardly silent:
when I get a poor grade on a test:
when someone says something incredibly stupid:
when someone keeps asking me for the answers on homework or tests:
she is my spirit animal

“It’s better to feel pain, than nothing at all. The opposite of love’s indifference. So pay attention now, I’m standing on your porch screaming out. And I won’t leave until you come downstairs.” -The Lumineers
I love this song. I knew from the first time I read the lyrics that this song would always be one of my favorites. It’s not just because The Lumineers are amazing, it’s because this song actually makes me feel so many different emotions. If you’re reading this right now, you might think I’m a little bit weird for thinking this but I don’t care. I’ve realized that no matter what shit I’m going through, this song will always remind me that the pain I’m feeling is a sign that sometimes love and life hurts but it’s always worth it. Without feeling emotion, you’re not only giving up on what you love but you’re giving up on yourself.
